Production Wellness & Performance Support

Structured support for performers and creative teams working with emotionally demanding material.

We partner with theatre and film productions, rehearsal processes, and creative teams to support both the people and the material when the work is emotionally intense or psychologically demanding.

Our role is to help creatives navigate complex storytelling with clarity, structure, and sustainability, without compromising artistic integrity.

Our work is supported by licensed mental health professionals, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), who contribute to the development and facilitation of select services. This ensures a trauma-informed, ethically grounded approach while remaining fully integrated into the creative process.

We collaborate with LMFTs to bring clinically informed insight into a non-clinical, production-based environment, supporting emotionally complex material with greater care, responsibility, and intention.

Services involving LMFTs are consultative and educational in nature and are not a substitute for psychotherapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment.

  • We provide production-integrated support that bridges mental wellness insight and creative collaboration, including:

  • Individualized cast and creative support

  • Script and character consultation (mental health-informed dramaturgy)

  • Trauma-informed scene preparation and guidance

  • Cultural and psychological sensitivity consulting

  • Emotional safety protocols and boundary frameworks

  • Crisis preparedness and on-set response support

  • Pre-scene grounding and preparation techniques

  • Post-scene decompression practices

  • Nervous system regulation tools

Our Approach

We collaborate with producers, directors, writers, and performers to ensure that complex themes—such as trauma, grief, addiction, or identity—are handled with accuracy, care, and responsibility.

This is not therapy.
This is proactive, structured mental wellness support embedded within the creative process.

Ways We Work With You

  • On-set / in-rehearsal day rate

  • Weekly production support

  • Pre-production cast workshops

  • Director & team consultations

Sustainable Art Requires Sustainable Artists

Creative excellence does not have to come at the cost of emotional wellbeing.

This work helps artists stay present, connected, and supported—without carrying the emotional weight beyond the work itself.

Our work is supported by licensed mental health professionals, including LMFTs, who advise on best practices, psychological safety, and trauma-informed approaches within a non-clinical, production-based setting. The services provided are for educational, consultative, and creative support purposes only. They do not constitute psychotherapy, medical advice, or a therapeutic relationship.
